REVIEW: Siren's Song by Mary Weber

My Review

Here we are, at the end of a long three year journey through Nym's story. It's been wild Nym. Siren's Song is the third and final installment of Mary Weber's fantasy trilogy. There is so much I want to talk about but I won't because...SPOILERS! This trilogy is probably one of the best I have ever read and if you haven't started this series yet I recommend that you do. Amazing world building, romance, and suspense flood these pages. I found myself while reading Siren's Song laughing, crying, and my heart pounding in my chest.

My Review

This book blew my mind. I haven't read or requested many suspense/mystery novels for the longest time because I was not impressed. They all seemed the same and I could guess the result before halfway through the novel. But I saw the cover of this one and read the synopsis and I was sold. Then I read it. I was pulled in within the first few chapters and by the time I finished reading I looked over at the clock and it was going on 2:00 AM. If I Run is a roller coaster of a Suspense with a dash of Romance for good measure. You will not want to miss this one. One of the best Suspense Thrillers I have read in years and If I Run will definitely be on my Top of 2016 list at the end of the year.

My Review

Boy, this book was so freaking good. Keeper of the Stars was the perfect winter read full of romance, ntrigue, and hardships. This may be the first book of the Kings Meadow series that I've read, but I will definitely be looking to pick up the previous two books in the series. And I was sad to hear that was to be the final book in the series as well. If you want the perfect winter read or a read to keep you cool in the Summer than I suggest picking up Keeper of the Stars.

My Review

Oh my! Why have I never read a Debra Clopton novel before? Debra is now on my list of must read authors. I need to buy the previous two books in this series because this book was amazing and was exactly what I had hoped it would be and more. I usually don't read much contemporary, but since it was mixed with romance and western I knew I would love it is despite the contemporary setting. Kissed by a Cowboy was a swoon worthy read and I really loved it.

REVIEW: A Son's Vow by Shelley Shepard Gray

My Review

A Son's Vow is the first in a new Amish series by Shelley Shepard Gray. I was hesitant to sogn up for the blog tour for A Son's Vow because I don't really read Amish fiction anymore, except for Beverley Lewis, it has become the same ole', same ole'. But I have enjoyed other books by Shelley so I thought to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. I actually really loved and enjoyed A Son's Vow. And I love the cover of the book too.

Set in an Amish village in Ohio, it tells the story of Darla Kurtz and Lukas Kinsinger. Darla's father was responsible for a fire that killed five Amish men, including her own father. And since the town doesn't look at Darla the same, even Lukas who Darla has been close friends with for years. Lukas's father waas one of the men killed in the fire and he has since maintained distance from Darla. Unfortunately Darla's brother has become angry and he is taking his anger out on Darla leaving bruises. Lukas soon finds out what Darla's brother is doing to her and he can't just sit by and do nothing.

A Son's Vow was a huge surprise and I can not wait for book #2 to release on May 24, 2016.
