I have two words for Center of Gravity and they are...WOAH BABY!!! (And if you got that reference, then I love you!) Center of Gravity is Laura McNeill's debut novel and what a debut novel it was. It is the story of Ava Carson who is feeling the pressure to say I do and so when she meets Mitchell and his son she believes it's fate. Though soon enough Mitchell becomes very controlling and eventually files for divorce. Mitchell also takes the kids. Center of Gravity is a story that teaches us that not everything is at it seems.
This was one heck of a thrill ride of a novel. Ava Carson is such a relatable character, flaws and all. And guys, you can't help but hate Mitchell. The prose is one of the many things that kept me reading. The writing was just phenomenal.
