REVIEW: Her One and Only by Becky Wade

About the Book

My Review

Her One and Only is the fourth and final book in Beck Wade's Porter Family series featuring every Porter siblings story. My favourite book in this series is definitely Undeniably Yours, but Her One and Only gave it an run for their money. Her One and Only tells the story of Gray Fowler, an NFL tight end who is being stalked by an unknown person. For protection a bodyguard is hired to keep watch of Gray at all times. That bodyguard just happens to be Dru Porter, the youngest Porter sibling and the only sister. Dru is a former Marine who is highly skilled and as Dru and Gray come closer to solving the mystery of who is stalking Gray the closer Dru and Gray get to each other.

Her One and Only is yet another fantastic Contemporary Romance from Becky Wade. This novel is sure to satisfy readers and fans of Becky Wade's previous works. Her One and Only is a book to pack in your beach bag.

REVIEW: Someone Like You by Victoria Bylin

About the Book

My Review

Someone Like You was my second novel by Victoria Bylin that I have read. The previous was Together With You and I absolutely loved the book and when I got an email from Litfuse asking for bloggres to review Victoria's newses release I knew I couldn't pass it up. The story centers around Julia Dare who is trying to run her business, raise her son, and help her mother who is a widow. Also trying the keep her son's father in his life. Julia's event-planning business takes her Caliente Springs Resort where she meets up with her college sweetheart Zeke. Zeke is trying to keep Caliente Springs Resort up and running even with their financial troubles. Julia and Zeke work together on a client's big wedding all the while falling for each other a second time.

I enjoyed Someone Like You just as much as Together With You. It was a romantic, witty, and fast-paced ride that Contemporary Romance readers with devour.

Feisty and Feminine is also a book calling all Conservative women to stop sitting on our hands and finally standing up for exactly what we believe. I believe this to be a very important book and should be read by every Conservative woman.

My Review

This was a great mind twisty mystery. A bit slow in the first several chapters, but once you get into the heart of the story you'll be flipping pages like nobody's business. A great book for those rainy Spring days. Or one of those dark and rainy days in October. Laura really knows how to weave together a mystery that keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. I am very much looking forward to Laura's next book.

REVIEW: The Inheritance by Michael R. Phillips

My Review

I have read plenty of books set in Scotland, but never one set in the Shetlands of Scotland. Michael R. Phillips brings to life a multi-generational family saga full of faith, grace, and of course alittle bit of trouble along the way. Essentially we have an ancestral story steeped in a big mystery. I loved being immersed in Scottish culture, which I am very familiar with being part Scottish myself. You can definitely pick up on the Scottish dialect in the story through the writing. Kudos to Michael R. Phillips for that! The descriptions and prose are absolutely lovely. Michael R. Phillips is a true master storyteller. This is a saga I will definitely continue with, "The Cottage" releasing this Fall.
