My Review

3.5 stars

Of Stillness and Storm tells the story, the dark side, of missionary life. A mother who's struggling between two worlds, a teenaged boy who doesn't want any part of missionary life and who is quickly spiraling into depression, and the return of a man named Aiden. This wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't a fantastic book either. I found myself enthralled in certain chapters and then found myself skimming pages. Of Stillness and Storm is a strong 3.5 star novel.
