REVIEW: A Treacherous Decision by J.C. Morrows

About the Book

Kayden’s mission should have been simple — she was sent to kill the prince . . . not to fall in love with him.

Within the palace walls, Kayden has discovered that things are not as she expected. Is there more to the royal family, or . . . is there a more sinister depth to Drey’s mission?

Dvarius thought his mind was made up — but will he have the resolve to see it through?

Between attacks from outside the palace — and within, will the Prince live long enough to choose his Queen?

And will Kayden choose to follow her head . . . or her heart — knowing that her decision could very well make her a target as well!

My Review

A Treacherous Decision, the second book in author J.C. Morrow's Order of the Moonstone series starts right where the first book, A Reluctant Assassin leaves off. If you haven't read these books yet or are wondering what they're all about I HIGHLY suggest you give them a try. I mean yoou can't go wrong with assassins and steampunk.

Secrets, romance, and suspense fill these pages and the world J.C. built could have been fleshed out more but I didn't let it bother me. Hence the full 5 stars. Kayden and Prince Dvarius however, are fully fleshed out. So much so that they feel like real people to me.

I feel like if this series get the mainstream attention it deserves that the Order of the Moonstone series could be the next big thing in YA Fantasy.

Note::: This ARC was providing to me by the author for my honest review.
